Sets run 2 to 8 hours, and one in a Palma hotel with a house system is priced differently from a party at a Tramuntana finca with no sound of its own. Send the date, the area and the number of guests and I will put together a fixed, itemised quote.

A call beforehand to shape the music, setup and sound check, the full set, coordination with the caterer, the planner or the skipper, and pack-down. If sound or lighting is needed, it is organised with partner suppliers and appears as a separate item that says what comes and why.

Yes. Many fincas have set hours for outdoor music, fixed by their licence or by local rules, after which it has to stop or come down. We check it before quoting and build the evening around it: the busiest part before the cut-off and, where the finca allows it, a finish indoors.

My mixer, headphones and cables come with me to every booking. Room sound depends on the venue: hotels and beach clubs usually have enough, while fincas and villas normally need it brought in. Send photos or the size of the space and I will tell you plainly what it takes.

Yes. Sound for the deck is organised with partner suppliers and quoted separately. Before leaving port we agree with the crew on available power, where the gear goes and what level is allowed in the harbour or the cove. Most trips start from Palma, Puerto Portals, Port Adriano or Port d'Andratx.

The Mallorca season runs from April to October, and weekends from June to September go first. For those dates it is worth enquiring several months ahead; how far depends on the day and the format. Corporate events in spring and autumn usually have more room.

Of course. Before the event we put together a list of must-plays and one of tracks to avoid. On the night I take requests that suit the moment and bring them in where they blend. Jumping between genres every few minutes rarely works, so we agree beforehand how requests will fit in.

Yes. Anything from a dinner for twenty at a villa to a company party with several hundred guests. With small groups judgement matters more than volume: the music has to let people talk and still hold the evening together.

Spanish, English and German. Guests at Mallorca events often come from several countries, so key announcements can be made in 2 languages. Always short: at most private events, the fewer the better.

Yes, for private clients and companies, with whatever billing details your accounts team or the organising agency needs.

Yes, where it fits: Latin house, reworked Spanish classics and the odd track the crowd is waiting for at a certain hour. If you would rather have a purely international night, that works too. Tell me the mix you have in mind and the set is prepared that way.

I carry spare cabling and keep the music on my own devices, so nothing depends on the venue connection. I arrive early enough to spot any issues and coordinate with the venue; if backup power is needed, it is agreed before the event.

Yes, at VIP weddings with an open format: inland fincas, villas and hotels on the island. I prepare the drinks reception, the dinner and the party with house, deep, Latin and disco, and the key moments are agreed beforehand with you and with whoever is planning the day.

No. I am a house DJ, not a wedding host: no games, no karaoke and none of the usual banquet repertoire. If that is the format you want, other colleagues do it far better than I would.
